The general objectiveofthisdissertationistoidentifyelementsoftheprocessofawarenessof a manager in hisworkenvironment, basedonthereflexivecriticismof a characterfromthe series Severance. The specificobjectives are: tohighlightexamplesofnarratives (verbal and non-verbal) relatedtotheprocessofawarenessofthecharacter Mark Scout; andtoreflectontheinfluenceoforganizationalcultureontheexistenceandawarenessprocessofthecharacter Mark Scout. The broadeningofacceptanceandawarenessofwhat a personisexperiencingisknown as awareness. Consciousnesscanbedefined as theflowofexperiencehere-now. It dependsonthe feeling andemotionthatexistsonthepitch. Guidedgestalt training producesimplicitknowledge. Thisactionallowsindividualstobecomeawareoftheirneedsand make creativeadjustmentstomeetthem. LeadershipandOrganizational Culture are relatedthemesthathavebeengrowing a lotnowadaysduetotheir positive impactonresultswithworkteams. The leaderinfluencesattitudestowardstheupdatingandinnovationofknowledgeandtheworkenvironment. Everydaytechnology requires more effectivewaystotransforminformationintoknowledge, whichiscrossedbyemotionaland social issues. The leaderdealswithalltheseaspects, andtheliteratureindicatesthat for this, it isimportantthatheisawareofhisowncharacteristics. The researchischaracterized as descriptive, qualitative, phenomenologicalandhermeneutic. A narrative review focusedontheconceptsofawarenessandleadershipwasconducted. Data collection came fromthe series. For theselectionofthe data, the nine episodesthat make upthefirstseasonwerewatchedtwice. Once in an integral way, thefirstbeingfreely, thesecondwithanintentional gaze. The otherisrecurrent in thematic clippings centeredontheleader. The selectedexcerptsillustratedtheprocessofawarenessandtheinfluenceoftheorganizationalcultureontheirconduct. Tointerpretthe data, theEmancipatoryDialogicNarrativeAnalysis (ANDE) wasapplied, whichfollowedthesetwocategories. Elementsofawarenesswereidentifiedthroughoutthe series, organized in threestages; in theoptionofjoiningthecompany (to escape fromanexistentialpain), in assumingandperforming in theplaceofleader (strangeness), in transporting a self-help book towork (questioning). It ishopedthatthisreflectionandsystematizationoftheawarenessprocesswillcontributetotheformationofleadersandthedevelopmentofteams. The applicationof ANDE provoked a secondresultnotforeseen in thestudy, theresearcher'sownawarenessprocess.
