SUMMARY:

The Covid19 Pandemic has shaken society and personal life across the planet. There have been profound and important changes in the world since its emergence, which affected not only the individual, but the entire global society, involving health, education and the local, national and global economy. During and after signaling its end by the WHO. uncertainty was and still is a striking fact, for the individual and the world of work. When it comes to expectations for the future, uncertainty is always a present fact, however, in this pandemic context that we have recently experienced, it has been notably exacerbated. Thus, thinking about the drastic changes caused by Covid19 that affected social regulations, the individual's physical, psychological and financial health, with a strong impact on the world of work, this study aims to investigate the influence of variables indicating weak standards (Red Tape, Organizational Anomie and Social Anomie) and well-being indicator variables (Affective Organizational Commitment, Work Involvement and Job Satisfaction) on future expectations in relation to COVID 19. It is an empirical research, adopting the quantitative method , whose data were subjected to statistical methods, with the aid of IBM SPSS (Statistical-Package for the Social Sciences) and AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures) statistical software. Standardized instruments were used for data collection: Organizational Anomie Scale (Souza & Ribas Jr, 2013), Red Tape in Organizations Scale (Souza et al, 2017), Margins of Society Scale - MOS (Travis, 1993), validated for Brazilian samples by Formiga and Souza, 2011), Well-Being at Work Inventory (IBET-13), Affective Organizational Commitment Scale (Bastos et al., 2008), in addition to the Future Expectation Scale in Relation to Covid19 – EEFRC, which was considered adequate in its initial validity criteria for the purpose of carrying out studies with Brazilian samples. 305 workers from public and private organizations in Rio de Janeiro participated in the research, 56% female and 44% male. The results showed that work influences Future Expectations in relation to Covid19, negatively impacting organizational anomie and red tape and positively impacting Well-being at work and Affective commitment at work. It highlighted the influence of social anomie on the organizational variables studied; as well as the negative correlation between positive variables (job satisfaction, affective organizational commitment, work involvement and future expectations in relation to covid19) and a positive correlation in negative variables for the employee and the organization (organizational anomie and network tape). These results suggest the complexity of interactions between psychosocial variables that go beyond relationships in the world of work, forming a network with the entire social context, in a scenario as challenging as that experienced during the pandemic. This scenario demonstrates the relevance of considering the influence of the social context on work processes, especially regarding the psychology of its employees and always looking for actions that improve the well-being of each of its members.
