SUMMARY:

This study aims to survey the State of the Art of the Body-Self Concept in the ergological field from 2014 to 2023, focusing on national productions. The term 'body-self' contributes to a subjective understanding of work, avoiding restrictive responses, by acknowledging that the process of carrying out activities is consolidated through intelligence, thought, cognition, and their association with a biopsychosocial and historical body. The contribution and transformation of work only become possible through a dialogical construction between epistemic knowledge and common knowledge. Applied to organizations, this concept offers an opportunity to take a humanized perspective within institutions practically. This is a descriptive, qualitative, and theoretical study, which will collect data through a Systematic Literature Review using the StArt tool, along with the organization, treatment, and discussion of research systematically conducted by the Table of Analysis of Academic-Scientific Texts (TABDN). The dimensions covered were: epistemological, theoretical, and analytical-conclusive.
