SUMMARY:

This project aims to investigate the potential of interprofessional education (IPE) in qualifying care practices within specialized mental health services. Considering the challenges imposed by historically fragmented care structures, the study proposes a reflection on how IPE can contribute to enhancing listening, shared responsibility among professionals, and the integrality of health actions. The research is organized into three stages: (1) a scoping review on the implementation of IPE in specialized mental health services; (2) the application of the Jefferson Scale of Attitudes Toward Interprofessional Collaboration (JeffSATIC) with network professionals; and (3) a qualitative analysis of the open-ended responses provided at the extremes of the scale, using content analysis techniques. This proposal seeks to understand professionals’ perceptions regarding interprofessional work and its implications for mental health care, contributing to the development of more collaborative, integrated, and context-sensitive practices.
