SUMMARY:

This dissertation investigates the historical and symbolic disconnection between humanity, nature, and the feminine, understanding it, in light of Carl Gustav Jung’s Complex Psychology, as an expression of cultural and psychic processes related to one-sidedness, repression, and the fragmentation of human experience. This qualitative, theoretical, and bibliographic research is grounded in archetypal-symbolic processing and employs symbolic amplification to articulate biological, historical, cultural, mythological, ecological, and psychic phenomena while preserving the specificities of each field. The first chapter begins with the female body and revisits aspects of reproduction, maternal inheritance, sexuality, pleasure, pregnancy, microchimerism, and reproductive aging, questioning representations that have historically associated the feminine with passivity and fragility. The second chapter shifts to ancestral imagery, analyzing matriarchy, the Great Mother, feline symbolism, Bastet and Sekhmet, Kianumaka-Manã, and the figure of the Sacred Prostitute, highlighting images related to autonomy, instinct, creation, sexuality, and nature. The third chapter examines the historical and symbolic consolidation of patriarchy through myths, institutions, and events associated with the control of the female body, violence, colonization, slavery, modern rationality, and the erasure of women from knowledge production. The fourth chapter, guided by the alchemical symbolism of the Coniunctio, brings together different cultural images of the relationship between the masculine and the feminine and proposes the integration of opposites as a horizon for individuation. The results of the analysis indicate that the disconnection investigated should not be understood solely as a historical or social phenomenon, but also as a symbolic and psychic dynamic in which separated dimensions tend to return in compensatory forms. It is concluded that reconnection with the feminine and with nature does not imply establishing a new form of supremacy, but rather overcoming the logic of one-sidedness through relationships of reciprocity, interdependence, and integration among differences.
