RESUMO:

This research analyzes narratives, through the dialogical narrative analysis, the thinking skills of teachers, participants of a community of teacher research, in a public school in RJ. It was based on the methodological proposal of the Research Community of Matthew Lipman and interlocutors. This study is descriptive, qualitative. Meetings in the form of a research community were preferred, in which narratives focusing on the thinking skills of the teachers of the first cycle of elementary school were collected. There were five meetings of two hours duration, the topics of debate were the teaching practices and experiences, prioritizing: philosophy, psychology, education, and childhood. The main tools used for data collection were the recording and the teachers' journal. There was the transcription of the meetings and the examination of the diaries. Data analysis had the following specific objectives: a) to identify the process of thought production about the thinking of teachers participating in a research community; b) investigate teacher narrative marks that point to the habitus of being and being in teaching; and c) verify the process of teacher construction of the consciousness of being a teacher. As a result of the research it was possible to observe that through the dialogue, teachers monitored and self-regulated their cognitive processes. Finally, we verified that the community was able to produce reflective, rigorous, critical, profound, creative, careful, contextualized and self-correcting thoughts about the teaching practice since philosophical doing implies examining how we think, and how we perceive ourselves in the world.
