RESUMO:

In recent decades, as a civil engineer and labor safety engineer, I have come across the sad, shocking and worrying index of work-related accidents at all levels, in the manufacturing industry, as well as in the civil construction industry. the one with the highest rates.
The precariousness with which the safety of work is seen by some productive sectors has caused, in the life of workers, transformations with losses of irreversible, in the majority of cases of accidents.
Reports of injured workers indicate that we must evaluate with refined technique the variables involved in production environments, verifying which are the directives provided by the Occupational Health and Safety Manager system that favors safety climate conditions which, provides all the conditions for that the worker's activities can be performed in a work environment with risk of accident under control and that guarantee his QVT (Quality of Life at Work) and well being.
It is understood, therefore, that the materialization of the risk occurs instantaneously and that this, is related to a history of the worker's life that favors its construction through several determinations and over-determinations that in a given moment, through a confluence of forces, is materialized. It follows from this assertion that the analysis of the causes must be based on the specific collection, analysis and study of the variables, be they independent, dependent or foreign to the context of said study, and that the locus of health and safety control is an indicator to consistently reveal the reality of the Health and Safety Climate in the work environment, showing the degree of trust and commitment of the worker to the Organization's Health and Safety Culture.
