RESUMO:

Although institutional care in Brazil is a provisional and last resort measure, there are still a significant number of children and adolescents away from family and community life, a fact that causes a series of consequences on their cognitive and social development. Thus, it is understood that measures and intervention projects with this population must be executed, therefore the present study intends to build, apply and evaluate a Purpose protocol with female adolescents from 13 to 18 years old in institutional situation in the city of Nova Iguaçu/RJ. An action research will be conducted through the Talk Group method, proposing 10 meetings lasting 2 hours. The proposed discussion will have as themes: Life history, interpersonal relationships, basic notion of the rights of children and adolescents from the Child and Adolescent Statute - (ECA), territoriality, self-esteem, family and professional and financial planning. These themes will be addressed in a dynamic and integrative way, using audiovisual materials, playful instruments, group dynamics and activities built during the project preparation process. The information collected during the talk group will be crossed with the data contained in the Logbook through the Bardin Content Analysis method, intending to provide a better understanding of the phenomenon in question, thus assisting in the elaboration of possible proposals for the elaboration of Purpose that correspond to the reality of these adolescents and attend the welcome institutions.
