PROMOTION OF TIME MANAGEMENT IN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE: CONTRIBUTIONS TO ACADEMIC LIFE
Time management; College students; Neuropsychology.
Time management (GT) refers to the ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and perform tasks in a planned and organized manner. In this context, the present research aims to develop a program of intervention in GT in university students of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). In the first study, we sought to characterize the scientific publications on the GT, available in the SciELO, LILACS, PsycINFO and ERIC databases. From the inclusion / exclusion criteria, 18 articles were selected and analyzed. It was found that a program of stimulation of this ability can contribute positively to children, adolescents and adults. The results show that efficient temporal management can reduce procrastination, anxiety and stress and improve self-efficacy, perceived time control, organization and planning. The stimulation of this ability can help the performance of the subjects in the university, at work and in daily life. Study 2 presents the proposal of the GT stimulation program to be implemented. The description of the sample, the instruments, procedures and methodology of data analysis is presented.
