RESUMO:

The question raised is how college students with special needs describe their academic trajectory, what are their greatest difficulties and how they deal with them. How do they manage to occupy and legitimize their places as university students? What positions do they occupy in the academic context and in what form? For this purpose, a qualitative research will be conducted through a narrative interview with university students with SEN of UFRRJ to meet the following objectives: a) general: intends to investigate the relationship between the concepts of Self and Positioning of students with Specific Educational Needs at the Federal University Rural of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica campus. Specific: i) To identify in the narratives of students with SEN in UFRRJ their academic experiences in the context of inclusion / exclusion in the context of HEI; ii) To categorize the meanings constructed by these students on what it is to be a university student in the face of these experiences; iii) To investigate the relationship between the construction of these meanings and the student's concept of himself; and iv) To investigate how the concept of Self affects the positioning of these students in the same context.
