This dissertation focuses on the representation of women in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The problem focuses on the analysis of how this representation is configured in the legislative production of women in intersectional theoretical-methodological terms. The empirical relationship involves considering how affirmative electoral policies produced a policy of intersectional presence in the legislative production of the ALERJ in the 2010-2018 legislatures. Methodologically, we undertake a theoretical framework regarding the contours and limits of liberal democracy considering social markers, in addition to the intersectional perspective. The use of content analysis is foreseen for the analytical design of the bills.
