Reading of classics and animation: a proposal for retextualization from the epic genre to the production of videos for the sixth grade of elementary education
Textual genre; literacy; retextualization
The present research has as its object the teaching of the epic genre, based on the official documents and Contents for Elementary Education, from Nova Iguaçu and the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). Aimed at sixth-grade students, it is intended to propose a pedagogical notebook with didactic activities based on the reading of the epic in the classic format, its retextualization in comics (HQ) “The Odyssey in Comics” (2014), with final production of a movie script for the production of a video with the stop-motion technique. It is theoretically based on Marcuschi (2010), Dell' Issola (2007), Vergueiro (2009), Ramos (2009) and Geraldi (2011). Its main objective, therefore, is to work with the epic literary genre, retextualizing it in other genres such as comics and a movie script, thus expanding the student's literacy. As specific objectives, it is intended to: a) Lead the student to autonomy in relation to relating the verbal text to the non-verbal text as a support for textual understanding; B). Identify orality marks and be aware of the communicative situations in which these expressions may or may not be used, thus contributing to the development of each child's literacy in a school environment.
