SUMMARY:

This research project will focus on the relevance of using inference as a news reading strategy capable of enhancing the formation of reflective readers in the face of the fake news phenomenon. In this sense, the main objective of this work proposal is to analyze scientific productions that direct the studies of the aforementioned theme in a deeper way, allowing the conclusions arising from this research to contribute to the elaboration of a notebook of didactic activities capable of improving the performance of students. students regarding the critical reading of this digital textual genre so typical of the current historical moment (COUTINHO; LISBÔA, 2011). With regard to the theoretical contribution, the present research is based on the assumptions of Cognitive Linguistics, guided by metacognitive didactics (RIBEIRO, 2003), in line with international and national theorists, as proposed by Palomanes (2018), based on the studies of Flavell ( 1987), Brown (1978), Flavell and Wellman (1977); Boruchovitch and Gomes (2019) based on studies by Bandura (1996) and Zimmerman (1998), in addition to studies by Bakhtin (2011) and Marcuschi (2008, 2010). As for methodological procedures, through bibliographical research, supported by authors such as Gil (2007), Severino (2007), Lakatos and Marconi (2003), scientific articles, dissertations and other forms of academic work will be mapped and analyzed, which will enable the construction of the theoretical basis of this research, the identification of the contradictions of the mentioned theme, the discovery of answers for the elaborated questions, and finally, the formulation of the conclusions about the carried through study.
