SUMMARY:

This project proposes to develop a didactic sequence (cf. SCHNEUWLY; DOLZ, 2004), composed of retextualization activities from speech to writing (cf. MARCUSCHI, 2010) from the textual genre culinary recipe, intended for Youth and Adult Education (EJA). From the experience of the teacher-researcher with students of the first stage of a multiphase class of elementary School in a municipal school from Angra dos Reis, dynamics are suggested that aim to develop orality and literacy practices, placing students at the center of the teaching-learning process. The research follows the parameters of the participant research and is guided by the assumptions of Marcuschi (2010), Schneuwly; Dolz (2004), by Koch; Elias (2015), by Bagno (2012) and by Freire (1989 and 2000). It also takes into account the main documents that guide teaching in Brazil: i) the Law of Guidelines and Bases for National Education (LDB 9394/96); ii) the National Curriculum Parameters (BRAZIL, 1998); and iii) the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC, 2017). The main objective is: i) to present the similarities and differences between the written and oral modalities of the Portuguese language; ii) expose the characteristics of the culinary recipe genre; and iii) stimulate not only the production of this genre in both modalities, but also its retextualization. Thus, it is believed that the communicative and social possibilities of students will be expanded, promoting quality education in a Brazilian public school.
