Acquisition of reading through the biography genre: didactic proposal supported by the pedagogy of multiliteracies.
Reading. Literacy. Multiliteracies. Biography. Prototype.
The present work aims to discuss the contributions of multiliteracies to the reading acquisition process. Aware that the formation of a proficient reader is one of the main objectives and one of the biggest challenges of the Portuguese language teacher – although this responsibility is not his alone –, our proposal aims to give new meaning to traditional forms of teaching, considered mechanical and boring by students and by the teachers themselves. In this sense, using technologies and digital media as tools, we created a didactic prototype based on the textual genre of biography, which, due to its undeniable educational strength, will equip us not only in this process of developing proficiency in the mother tongue, but also in training intellectual, personal and social student. For this, we will have as theoretical support Bakhtin (2003), Bortoni-Ricardo (2013), Rojo (2009, 2017), Rojo and Moura (2012), Marcuschi (2008, 2010), Kleiman (2016), Ingedore Koch and Vanda Elias (2006), among other authors considered references on the subject.
