RESUMO:

This pre-project research intends to promote education directed towards citizens formation through work with genres of arguing, taking into consideration the intention to extend and instrumentalize effective methods of work with the creation of opinion papers, from the practice of argumentation construction through research and selection of arguments so that is a viable way to the development of critical sense in students from 9th grade of Middle School. The objective of this work is to offer theoretical foundations and methodological suggestions of teaching in which intervention develops the critical capacity in texts creation. Considering the concept of writing as a social practice, this paper exposes a pedagogical proposal of writing teaching that leads the students to be, in fact, authors of their thoughts and their texts so that this practice awakens a new look on the world around them.
