FROM PRONOMINALIZATION TO OTHER REMISSIVE STRATEGIES: THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEXTUAL COHESION IN THE PRODUCTION OF WRITTEN TEXT
pronominalization, referencing, fable, teaching.
Pronominalization is a cohesion strategy widely used on a daily basis. It consists of the resumption of a pronoun of a lexical item already activated in the text, being an important resource in the activity of keeping a specific textual referent in focus. It so happens that, for more elaborate textual constructions, pronominalization needs to be combined with other cohesion strategies, which can result in an addition of meanings to the texts produced, since the return by pronoun, in general, does not promote the topical evolution of the text . In most of the students' written productions, observed during Portuguese Language and Textual Production classes in a teaching unit of the state public network in Rio de Janeiro, there was a significant amount of occurrences of pronominalization, motivating the study. The project, then, is concerned with building a didactic proposal to expand the repertoire of referencing mechanisms aimed mainly at seventh-year elementary school learners, based on the fable narrative genre. To conduct the work, renowned authors in the field of text linguistics studies were selected, such as Koch (2005, 2013, 2018), Koch and Elias (2018), Marcuschi (2008, 2016), Mondada and Dubois (2003), Cavalcante (2009). In addition, we resorted to the valuable contribution of the philosopher of language Bakhtin (2016), who supported a considerable part of discursive studies. The textual genre fable, selected to involve students in the process from reading to writing, provides proximity and familiarity to the text, given that the narrative textual type (proper for the observation and treatment of pronominalization) is found since the beginning of the contact. language school.
