RESUMO:

This work is intended to investigate the possibilities of influence that the speeches found in the stories read in the classroom have on the process of identity formation of the students of the 7th year of a public school in the municipality of Nilópolis. Through the analysis of strategies of resistance and discursive reversal found in Adriana Carranca's short stories, from the perspective of postcolonial studies, the aim is to deconstruct stereotypes existing in fairy tales of European origin and to minimize the sexist prejudices found in society and brazilian literature.
