RESUMO:

The chronic rewriting activity is the practice proposed in this project for the development of skills and competences in the textual production of ninth grade elementary students in the municipality of Nova Iguaçu, RJ. It is mainly intended to show the student that through the rewriting of his productions - in this case, chronicles - it is possible to perfect his text; in addition, make the learner expand his knowledge of the world, his lexical inventory, his ability to express ideas and the exercise of creativity. The authors Solé (2007), De Lucia and Hocevar (2008), Serafini (1995), Ruiz (2015) and Menegassi (2001), among others, base the theoretical references of this project. The National Curricular Parameters (NCPs) (1998), the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC) (2018) and the Rio de Janeiro State Minimum Curriculum (2012) are the official documents that this project has been made available to establish the guidelines of the job. Action research is the methodology adopted, given its dialogical character between practice and research. Students are expected to be aware of the importance of reflecting on their own way of writing and that the strategies taught allow students to write in a more cohesive, coherent, creative and with fewer marks of orality and deviations in use spelling, punctuation, agreement, and other expensive aspects to a well-written text.
