Textual production in the digital genre - Paths for teaching
argumentative operators to use in post comments.
Argumentative Operators, Writing Teaching, Post Comment
This research sought didactic paths for the teaching of argumentative operators, through
the digital post commentary genre made on the Facebook platform, being conducted with
9th grade students from a public school in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The overall goal was
to collaborate in developing learners' argumentative proficiency by encouraging them to
write comments in digital posts on varied and current topics. The main objective of this
research is to develop a didactic proposal for the teaching of argumentative operators
based on the digital genre "post comment", based on a 9th grade elementary school from
the public school in the city of Rio de Janeiro. To this end, we used a group created on
the digital platform of Facebook, in which interaction with students and among them was
promoted from issues that circulate in the daily lives of young people. The present work
is an action research (THIOLLENT, 2011) and had a didactic sequence that started from
the activities provided in the Pedagogical Notebook (CP) material and developed in its
modules other activities that added varied ways of building the argument inside and
outside the room. (social network). The reflection about the didactic materials adopted by
the Secretariat of Education of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro (SME-RJ) serves as a
starting point and grounding for this research, once we perceive a necessary update of the
approach of essential contents to the skills improvement. of reading and writing. We
consider that the pedagogical material that the SME-RJ has presents the argumentative
markers in list format, and in parallel, the institutional textual productions of this
secretariat do not require the use of such structures, or assume that such language
regularities would occur in the form use. without the necessary attention to the procedural
development of writing. We conclude that the proposal idealized by this research sought
to integrate the teaching of such linguistic elements prioritizing a media genre of student
use which facilitated the argumentative ability and its refinement, as well as favoring the
construction of a critical view of reality by learners. By comparing the initial productions
with the students' final productions, we noticed advances in the quality of texts and a
significant increase and diversification of the argumentative operators, proving that the
elaboration of didactic sequences with genres of interest to the students facilitates the
teaching of writing.
