SUMMARY:

Youth and Adult Education (EJA) aims to teach people who have not been able to study and complete elementary and / or high school at the appropriate time and age. Driven by the need to adapt to the job market, in addition to the desire to complete their studies and acquire knowledge, EJA students tend to be individuals with a profile of workers from popular social classes. In the perspective of providing the expansion of student participation in an efficient manner in social life activities that involve reading and writing, teaching the production of text is relevant. There is an understanding that, with the right direction, students can use strategies that will enable them to activate content that will enrich their textual production. For this, the use of supporting texts is essential, since, from there, students will be able to trigger new information to be worked on in their own texts. Therefore, the general objective of the imminent research is to present a didactic sequence for classes from EJA / EF to work with the textual production of the ENCCEJA writing genre in order to bring advantages to the pedagogical process. It also seeks to discuss the assumptions of textual linguistics under the historical and scientific aspects of this theory associated with other perspectives of language studies, especially those that take into account cognitive aspects that analyze aspects that lead to the improvement of text production by EJA students.
