SUMMARY:

This master's thesis discusses the textual production of a dissertation-argumentative nature with the application of the didactic sequence (SD), with a focus on the teaching modality of Youth and Adult Education (EJA), for students at the end of Elementary School. There is an understanding that, with the mediation of the teacher, in this way, students can use strategies that allow them to activate content that will enrich their textual production. The use of handouts is critical because they enable students to trigger new information to enrich their texts. In addition, students can take advantage of the literacy they have accumulated throughout their knowledge construction trajectories. The general objective of the imminent research is to present a DS for EJA/EF classes with literacy support to work with textual production of the ENCCEJA writing genre in order to bring benefits to the pedagogical process. The specific objectives are to discuss the presuppositions of textual linguistics; present historical aspects of linguistics and literacy, considering the cognitive aspects that provide the improvement of textual production, considering the theoretical assumptions of literacy for EJA students. To carry out the steps, models of activities that will be part of the SD are presented. The teaching of text production with a focus on textual genre allows the expansion of these subjects' participation in social life with regard to reading and writing. This research focuses on the textual genre of ENCCEJA, the essay-argumentative text. As in Brazil there is no official curriculum document aimed at EJA, the SD is based on the Common National Curriculum Base - BNCC - for Elementary Education, in the Portuguese Language component. The research methodology is bibliographical, with the presentation of a proposal for a DS to apply in an EJA/EF class, as soon as the schools reopen, as they are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, there is no search result, as it was only possible to create the proposal.
