SUMMARY:

This dissertation proposes a didactic circuit for teaching and learning coordinated prayers to be developed with seventh -year students from a public school in Rio de Janeiro. The description of this phenomenon presented by the textbook adopted by that institution and texts produced by the same students who will participate in the circuit is taken as a starting point. This procedure is due, on the one hand, to the hypothesis that such a description ignores the effects of meaning generated by the coordination of prayers in texts of different discursive organizations, prioritizing the traditional perspective of teaching these prayers. On the other hand, it is due to the assumption that these elements, in the texts of these students, generate fundamental effects of meaning to their awareness of individuals inserted in a society. In addition, they are supposed to print in their productions frequent coordination strategies in the spontaneous orality of the Brazilian speaker. Thus, the idea is to know these two realities in order to create didactic activities that develop students' linguistic, social and discursive awareness so that at the end of the circuit they can recognize and use coordination strategies in both narrative and argumentative texts, Going from the most spontaneous orality, through school literacy, to reach the most monitored writing and orality. As one of the motivational strategies for the circuit, we will use Maria Carolina de Jesus's book of eviction, as well as other textual experiences that reflect orality and writing. The main objective of the dissertation is, therefore, to contribute to the development of levels of consciousness regarding the use of prayer coordination: linguistic, social and discursive. The text for qualification is divided into five parts: 1) analysis of the textbook adopted by the school; 2) Analysis of linguistic coordination in school texts; 3) theoretical assumptions on coordinated prayers; 4) methodological procedures used for research and didactic circuit; 5) Activities schedule. As a theoretical reference, the research will be based on Koch (1984, 1987, 1989, 1992, 2002), Koch; Elias (2011). For methodological procedures, we will use the assumptions of action research (THIOLLENT, 1988). For the circuit, we will support the principles of collaborative learning (Behrens, 2013). Thus, students are expected to be challenged to resolve problem situations raised by reading and producing texts, autonomously articulating coordinated prayers in their cohesive role in the period.
