SUMMARY:

Although much has been discussed in the area of Education and Languages about the importance of reading in the teaching of Portuguese, still what is perceived in classrooms is a work focused on structural issues of the language and the use of the text only as a pretext for the study of grammar. As a result, this work aims to promote the development of reflective reading practices, aimed at the production of meanings, in order to form critical and autonomous subject-readers, prepared for social practices. Considering the problem that Brazilian students leave Basic Education without reading proficiency, or even semi-literate, a reading project is proposed, with activities that encourage the production of meanings, and not just the reproduction of textual information and answers. ready, foreseen by the authoritarian pedagogical discourse, legitimized by the didactic manuals. In this sense, the teacher can assume the role of mediator and facilitator of the teaching-learning process, helping the student in the transposition of subject-reproducer or reader to subject-reader. The Project will have as its main theme the Female Protagonism, in view of its relevance even in the current times, because although women have obtained many achievements guaranteed by law in recent times, there are still many challenges to be faced by the female public in contemporary times, in search of gender equality and antisexism, as they defend the ideas of feminism. The work will be based on the French-based Theory of Discourse Analysis, proposed by the linguist Michel Pechêux, in the 60s, and introduced in Brazil by the researcher and author Erni Orlandi, a great proponent of AD in reading teaching. And it will be developed at Colégio Municipal Maria Letícia dos Santos Carvalho, in the city of Macaé, in the State of Rio de Janeiro, in a class of the 9th grade of Elementary School II. During the research, the interventional action research methodology will be used, in which the teacher will act in the mediation and guidance of reflective reading activities, centered on the fairy tales A Cinderella, A Bela Adormecida no Bosque and A Bela e a Fera, with the original and contemporary versions, but also in working with other discursive genres, oral, written and digital (multimodal), which dialogue discursively and intertextually on the proposed theme, promoting the debate on the meanings produced by a patriarchal discourse on the feminine, built throughout history. For this, in the research, the method of the pedagogical archive will be used, composed of texts selected by the teacher, according to their teaching objectives, and also, by the students, in a participatory way, in order to foment their discursive memories and value their historicity of readings. At the end of the Project, it is still intended to carry out a textual production activity, through which students move from the position of subject reader to subject-reader-author, through the function of authorship of parodies, with modern versions of the tales of fairies. In this way, the teacher will offer production conditions so that these students have a voice and assume a critical position in the face of the reality of their socio-historical context.
