SUMMARY:

The main objective of this research is to create strategies for teaching the indeterminate subject in the final years of elementary school (Fundamental II). Such strategies, inserted in a circuit that we call didatic, are based on foudation from normative grammars, ROCHA LIMA (2011), CUNHA E CINTRA (2009), BECHARA (2010), and on reflections by Duarte (2007, Bravin dos Santos (2012,2018), Lucchesi (2014) and Perini (2010), among others. Thus, it can be considered we ca say that this is a bibliographical and propositional research. The idea of the didactic circuit is based on the hypothesis that the forms of the indermination prescribed by such grammars have a low frequency in oral and written Brazilian Portuguese (BP), which makes teaching difficult. That variety developed other forms of making the subject indeterminate, such as “você” and “a gente” (Duarte, 2007), rejected by the prestigious standarte that the school hopes to bring to students. In addition to these pronouns, expressions such as “neguinho” carry a sense of indeterminacy, considered by this researcher a form marked by discriminatory thaits. In view of two distinct linguistic realities, the one to which the student is exposed and the on that the scool intends to achive, we propose a didactc circuit that deapars from orality to monotored by the perpective of prestige norm.
