SUMMARY:

The days of the second half of the 21st century subject a considerable part of the world's population to an ever closer relationship with the digital world. This, in a state of constant evolution, creates demands in each area with which the human being is involved, such as linguistics, especially textual. The text, therefore, in its process of creation and understanding, must meet the proposals for innovation arising from the relationships established between man and technology in order to be a relevant and effective tool for the exercise of communication. Imbued with this awareness, the lines that make up this academic work seek to qualitatively analyze the process of understanding multimodal texts of the meme genre to generate a didactic product that helps the development of reading skills from various language registers. Specifically, the objective of this study is the elaboration of a notebook of didactic-pedagogical reading activities in/from the multimodal materiality of the meme textual genre, having as a central theoretical concept that of Indirect Anaphora (AI), about which are these activities developed. The theoretical support that subsidizes this study and the consequent proposal of activities is located in the field of Textual Linguistics studies, in studies on referencing processes, according to the treatment given by our main references, which are Antunes (2005; 2017), Koch (2007), Koch and Elias (2021), Koch and Travaglia (2006) and Marcuschi (2001; 2004; 2008).
