SUMMARY:

The expansion of use of  communication technology in contemporary world, speeds up the sharing of information and changes interpersonal, cultural and social relationship of human being in such a way that the language, cognitive ability, flexible, adaptable and responsible by express those alterations, actually, must be studied in articulation with the social practices of its uses and technologies, in order that learning Portuguese, contemplates new forms  of communication, to signify and to produce culture in postmodernity period. Against this reality, the present research pretends comprehends if by the intermediate of sense production  of  meme multimodal genre, designed according to the conception of Dawkins (1976) and Blackmore (2000), on interface with commentary genre, is possible propitiate the development of  linguistic-discursive competence of second segment fundamental instruction students, principally in what it refers to the improve of writing production. In this way, I propound  a pedagogical proposal based on Didacticism Sequence Conception, implemented by Schneuwly e Dolz (2004), starting by meme, in order to operate in the students the construction of world’s opinion and the transition to an internet commentary  text writing. This proposition is anchored on theory assumption of Textual Linguistics, through the studies of   Bronckart (1999),  Rojo (2005), Elias and Koch (2006), Bakhtin (1992, 2006), Marcuschi (1983, 2008) and in consonance with the orientations of the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais para o Ensino Fundamental and the Base Nacional Comum Curricular de Língua Portuguesa. We can’t ignore the fact that the students increasingly, have done use of audio, video, image treatment, edition tools etc.,  actively acting on producing practices and replication in cyberculture, as co-builders of senses in virtual ambients, because belong to the Digital Generation. Against this new paradigm, the teaching-learning practices of Portuguese language should constitutes, essentially, into a space that privileges diversity languages, allow that learners become protagonists at their own language knowledge construction and as a consequence be able to employ their language efficiently, actioning in this way as a critical and conscience citizens.
