STUDY AND USE OF TER, HAVER AND EXISTIR IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION: A COLLABORATIVE LEARNING PROPOSAL
Teaching of existential verbs; textual genres; collaborative learning.
This dissertation presents a collaborative learning proposal (TORRES and IRALA, 2014, BEHERNS, 2004) for the study and use of verbs to ter, haver and existir in the 7th grade of elementary school. Linguistic studies point to the preference of the form to have in existential constructions in orality (DUARTE, 2003; CALLOU and AVELAR, 2000; VITÓRIO, 2010; DUTRA, 2000), but at school, the student gets to know the use of verbs to have and exist based on the description of normative grammars. It is suggested a didactic mediation that facilitates the student to get in touch with the various possibilities of existential constructions and learn to use them in oral and written contexts. We start from the orality-literacy continuum (BORTONI-RICARDO, 2004, 2005a) from a circuit with the text genres fanfic, meme, charge and short story (MARCUSCHI, 2010). The main objective of the proposal, therefore, was to contribute to the knowledge, by the students of the 7th year of Elementary School, of the verbs have, exist and exist existential and the relationship of these verbs with aspects of orality and writing of Portuguese as a mother tongue. The hypothesis that guides the circuit is that the study and use of these verbs, in Elementary School, must be associated with the student's language and the textual genres of orality and writing. The collaborative learning approach was related to aspects of the active methodology of language teaching (MORAN, 2015) to support the idea that the mother tongue teacher can act as a mediation agent for the learning of the mentioned verbs, presenting the possibilities of uses in writing and orality. The student will be the agent of this pedagogical action through which he builds and applies the knowledge learned.
