RESUMO:

The cultivation from the organic system has been expanding in the scenario of world agricultural production. Organic management presents a new perspective to make production feasible using practices that allow the farmer high productivity reconciled with environmental, social, economic sustainability and high quality food production. The adoption of organic agriculture allows improvements in the physical and chemical attributes of the soil, besides favoring its conservation. Within this context, the objective of this work will be to evaluate the effects of the organic cultivation on the physical quality of a soil using maps of spatial variability. The area used in the experiment has installed the organic cultivation over 14 years. Deformed and undeformed soil samples for physical and chemical attributes evaluation will be collected at depths of 0 to 10 and 10 to 20 cm. The samples will be collected at geo-referenced points to generate variability maps of the quality parameters. The soil physical attributes are: soil size, soil density (Ds), particle density (Dp), total porosity (Pt) and chemical parameters: pH, Ca, Mg, Al, H + Al, P, Na, K and total organic carbon. At the end of the project, it is expected to obtain a characterization of the physical and chemical quality of the soil, which will allow the recommendation of practices to increase production in the area, preservation of environmental control and maintenance of the integrity of the organic system.
