EVALUATION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF FILTRATION WITH ORGANIC MATERIALS, FOLLOWED BY THE STABILIZATION COMPOSITION, IN THE TREATMENT OF RESIDUE WATER OF SUINOCULTURE
Primary treatment. Organic waste. Compound.
The use of materials of organic origin as a filter medium in wastewater treatment has proved to be an efficient and low cost alternative and can minimize environmental impacts through the discharge of effluents, without prior treatment, into receiving or soil water bodies. After being discarded of the filters, these organic waste In addition to being able to be submitted to processes such as composting, aiming at the production of an organic fertilizer and after being discarded of the filters, thus contributing to the reduction of problems related to the incorrect disposal of waste organic solids in the environment. The objective of this work is to evaluate the performance of organic filters, using sugarcane bagasse, wood sawdust, corncobs and compost in the treatment of swine wastewater (ARS) . The objective of this study was to investigate the efficiency of the composting method as an alternative for the stabilization of the filter medium, in order to use the substrate produced as organic fertilizer in agriculture. The experiments will be conducted in the Department of Soils, Institute of Agronomy, Department of Soils of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), Campus Seropédica-RJ. The methodological procedures will be executed according to a sequence of well-defined steps, the first one that will count on physical, chemical and biological analyzes of the tributary and the effluent of the ARS, as well as the filter media, before and after the treatment, using organic filter of filtration and ; and the second stage aimed at evaluating the quality of the generated composite substrate produced through chemical, physical and biological analyzes. It is hoped that this study contributes as an efficient and low cost alternative with the protection of the water bodies, through d of the appropriate treatment of the residual water of the swine culture aiming at its reuse in the fertirrigation; for the development of an efficient, low cost wastewater treatment protocol using recyclable and organic materials; in proving the efficiency of the production of the compound from the recycling of the residues used as filter media in the treatment of ARS. In addition, the aim is to disseminate the use of the proposed techniques and guarantee the sustainability of swine production systems, especially in small rural properties.
