RESUMO:

Noise is one of the occupational hazards agents in which exposed to them may be subject to a number of injuries. The machines are an important source of noise in agriculture. Thus, the objective of this work is to use geostatistics to map the spatial distribution of noise emitted by agricultural tractors with and without the use of agricultural implements in order to evaluate the health zones for all workers involved in the mechanized operation. The experiment will be developed at the Technical College of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (CTUR), Seropédica-RJ and at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). Agricultural tractors of different potencies (14, 15, 65, 75, 82, 95, 100, 110 hp) will be used. The tractors will be tested with and without agricultural implements. The implements to be driven by the tractors will be, the mower, the rotating hoe and the spreader of fertilizers. The digital decibelmeter will be used to collect the noise levels at points distributed in a regular sampling mesh of 1.0 x 1.0 m and also 2.0 x 2.0 m around these machines. The spatial dependence of the noise will be analyzed by wave-type semivariogram adjustment and kriging interpolation. Thus, it will be possible to characterize the structure and magnitude of the spatial dependence of the noise levels emitted by the tractor, as well as to map its spatial distribution in order to identify healthier areas to the workers.
