SUMMARY:

The oil industry from oil well drilling generates waste that, when improperly disposed, causes environmental problems. Among the main residues, the drilling gravel stands out, material composed mainly of crushed rock and drilling fluid. In recent decades, studies have been carried out in order to solve problems related to the deposition of gravel in the soil. This residue presents in its composition a series of heavy metals, salinity and petroleum-derived compounds. Thus, it is necessary technological routes to enable the use of gravel, promoting an environmentally correct end to it. The aim of this study was to evaluate the dynamics of the bioavailable elements of macro and micronutrients and heavy metals in the soil in order to verify if there was leaching of these to the groundwater, and also to measure the drag of the elements in the soil, according to the depth. Leaching tests were conducted at the Laboratory of Soil Relations - Plant (LSP), located in the Soil Department of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). The experimental design was completely randomized with five doses of gravel drilling from oil wells from pre-salt and post-salt (0, 25, 50, 100 and 200 Mg.ha-1), arranged on Argisol and Planossol in leaching columns. Leachanalysis and bioavailable soil contents were performed.  The applied water depth was 200 mm, equivalent to the average maximum precipitation of the areas where there is the possibility of receiving the residues from the maritime extraction. Thus, the water percolated by the application of the slides was quantified, observing critical sodium contents for both soils at the highest doses, with the possibility of saline soil formation. The quantity of outbook and heavy metals in the leached was not affected with the increase of residue doses. In relation to soil contamination, a higher sodium concentration was observed for post-salt treatments in both soils, and consequently, higher drag in planossolo. As for heavy metals, they were found within the reference values. In the analysis of the elements evaluated in leaching and soil, the dose of 25 Mg.ha-1 of both residues presented better results, without presenting interference to the environment.
