HISTORY TEACHING AND MEMORY – AN ANALYSIS OF THE LOCAL HISTORY OF MAGÉ

The present research seeks, through the analysis of the curricular
components of the discipline of History, Geography, Tourism and Environment
of Magé (HGTEM) implemented in 2021 in the municipality of Magé in the state
of Rio de Janeiro, to verify the relation between memory and teaching of local
history, privileging which aspects are valued or silenced. Aware that memory
and history addressed throughout school life play a fundamental role, this work
seeks to contribute to guaranteeing the right to memory and the formation of
liberating pedagogical practices.
