RESUMO:

The research project intends to reflect on the importance of the Globalization theme for the critical school education of the student of basic education. In this sense, it seeks to debate the social function of the History Teacher in times of rise and consolidation of ultraconservative movements in Brazil, analyzing the historical process of formation and consolidation of the neoliberal globalizing process. Finally, it proposes didactic sequences with the theme "globalization", focused on history classes, in basic education.
