Green manure in a intercropping of corn and Crotalaria juncea for red pepper cultivation in protected cultivationGreen manuring, Crotalaria juncea, greenhouse
An experiment will be carried out, aiming to evaluate the agronomic performance of red pepper crop, in succession to green manure with sunn hemp (Crotalaria juncea L.), intercropped with corn, in protected cultivation under organic management. A randomized block experimental design will be adopted, in a 2x2 factorial scheme, with four treatments and five replications, in a factorial scheme. The treatments will be: forms of soil management (presence and absence of previous cultivation with sunn hemp intercropped with corn) and forms of organic fertilization (presence or absence of the application of fermented compost type Bokashi). The evaluations carried out will involve the production of plant biomass by green manures, the yield of red pepper and corn, and the monitoring of phytopathogens in red pepper. The expected results of the dissertation are related to the definition of an agricultural practice and the elaboration of an action to socialize knowledge about this practice with farmers and technicians.
