PLANNING FOR THE PRODUCTION AND COMMERCIALIZATION OF VEGETABLES IN THE PEDAGOGICAL FAIR OF THE SCHOOL FAMILY FAMILY OF SANTA CRUZ DO SUL
horticulture; agroecology; production planning; young peopleThe Santa Cruz do Sul Agricultural Family School (EFASC) develops a process of teaching learning with rural youths, sons and daughters of farmers in the region of the Rio Pardo Valley (RS). In this context, the Pedagogical Fair is an important instrument and was developed with the objective of bringing the agroecological production carried out by students in their production units to the process of direct marketing to consumers. The objective of this research is to investigate the production and commercialization of vegetables at the Pedagogical Fair held at EFASC. The research design will be descriptive with participant observation using as instruments the field diary, semi-structured interviews and focus groups. Data collection will be carried out from August 2019 to July 2020. It will characterize aspects of the productive social system and production units, as well as the potentialities and difficulties of the production of vegetables for self-consumption and commercialization. The analysis of the commercialization at the Fair will be carried out using marketing reports self-filled by the students. The results will be systematized and analyzed through descriptive statistics and chi-square test for association between qualitative variables. From these results will be developed the participatory planning for the production and commercialization of vegetables in the Pedagogical Fair by EFASC students.
