SUMMARY:

The Agricultural Family School of Integrated Municipalities in the Irará Region, Bahia (EFAMI), was founded on July 26, 2006, starting its teaching activities on April 20, 2009, currently the school has 73 students, sons and daughters farmers and operating in the municipalities of Irará, Coração de Maria, Ouriçangas, Pedrão, Água Fria, Santanópolis and Santa Bárbara, in these municipalities, rainfed and predominantly family farming is practiced. EFAMI adopts agroecology as the basis for agricultural education and works in the development and implementation of technologies that contribute to the diversification and environmental and economic sustainability of family farming production units. The study aims to carry out the evaluation of the use of chicken litter and biofertilizer in the productivity of banana and passion fruit crops grown in agroforestry systems under rainfed conditions in schools in the integrated municipalities of the microregion of Irará, Bahia. The experiment was implemented on the EFAMI campus, with a dimension of 36m x 30m, totaling an area of 1,080m². The double spacing of 4x3x5m was adopted for the cultivation of bananas, making a total of 81 plants, the passion fruit crop was implemented in the streets of 5 m, with a spacing of 3 m between plants in the planting line, totaling 36 plants. Between the cultivation streets annual crops and green manure will be cultivated (string beans, maize, cassava and pig beans). Soil samples were collected at a depth of 0-20 cm and analyzed for pH, organic matter and macronutrients. Six treatments were adopted for the banana crop, with three treatments receiving 300g of dolomitic limestone plus chicken litter in the planting cradle in the proportion of 100% of the recommended dose, 50% and 25%, and three treatments received 300g of dolomitic limestone plus chicken litter in the proportion of 100% of the recommended dose, 50% and 25% plus 4L of biofertilizer in the proportion of 1L of biofertilizer to 3 L of water, applied at planting. The method used is the participatory methodology, having as pillars the action research, the participative rural diagnosis, the agroecological booklet and the quick agroecological method for the assessment of sustainability. A monetary survey of production will be carried out, quantifying the inflows and outflows of capital and economic and productive income of the saf. The survey of indicators the data obtained will be represented in an amoeba type graph.

It is expected that the adoption of the agroforestry system will provide the optimization of family agrosystems, contributing to productive diversification, strengthening food and nutritional security, increasing family income and improving ecological qualities in production units and that work can assist in planning and projects based on agroecology and agroforestry systems.
