RESUMO:

The Family Agriculture Fair (FAF-Rural), held at the Seropédica Campus of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, was created as a strategy to promote the integration of the academic community with local farmers. Since its first edition, as of September 2016, were filled by each marketer's marketing reports, using a simple form containing item information and sales balance. Registering and analyzing the marketing data is hard work, especially when a large diversity of items is sold in forms of presentation and variable prices, expressing characteristics of the products offered in the general fair. In addition, the volume of data increases exponentially with time. Considering the mentioned factors, the present project represents a transdisciplinary strategy to address this complexity. The goal of this project is to develop a system that includes creating an application for Android platform and cloud computing. This platform is aimed at streamlining data management and automatic generation of marketing reports and economic analysis. Firstly, the mobile application will be developed, which will record the data collected in filled-in roms at FAF-Rural. As a second step, it will be necessary to guarantee a language close to family farmers, because only in this way can they participate in the construction of a relational database model that is appropriate and representative. The third stage of the project will aim to encourage the use of the application as a tool to facilitate evaluation in the management process. To this end, training workshops will be developed for farmers and extensionists. In the fifth step, a questionnaire will be applied to the fairgrounds / extensionists with a view to evaluating and describing the difficulties encountered in the application and possible adjustments. As a result, it is expected to develop a social technology that represents an agricultural market information system (which has significant potential for innovation) broad enough to be used in fairs in general, with different levels of information, analysis and target audience, including farmers, extensionists, researchers and public managers. It is hoped that the greater ease in the storage of marketing data, being a modern alternative, could add space for young farmers interested in evaluating and publicizing the products offered at fairs, restaurants, or any other direct sales channel.
