VALUATION OF THE AGRONOMIC PERFORMANCE OF AMERICAN LETTUCE UNDER USE OF DIFFERENT ORGANIC COMPOUNDS IN YOUR PRODUCTIVE CYCLE
Organic fertilization, chicken manure, organic agriculture, agroecology
The present project aims to evaluate the use of this fertilizer, comparing it with others usually used in the region.
Thus, the following are hypotheses for this research project:
1. Dehydrated chicken manure contributes to increasing the productivity of lettuce when compared to composted manure mixed with sawdust or coffee straw;
2. Dehydrated manure has a better benefit / cost ratio than composted manure;
3. Dehydrated manure presents biological contaminants within the limits established by Normative Instruction number 17 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA, 2014).
