SUMMARY:

One of the most widespread technologies in the agro-ecological production system is the ground cover with plants that favor the improvement of the structure and contribution of nutrients in the soil. The methodology is the incorporation or cutting of the plants in the flowering phase and with that, there is no seed production. For commercial seed production is necessary to know the national system of seeds and seedlings.

It is necessary to include local seed market farmers in the availability of seeds that species used for green manure and produce their own seeds for purposes of trade in the domestic market. The general objective of this work is present and discuss adapted technologies in the management of seed production species used for green manure and exemplify the process of legalization for the production and trade of seeds, through the

selection of the best species adapted for the Baixada Fluminense region. The planting of a field experimental production of seeds will be carried on with the species of green manure together with a production field of organic vegetables. 

It will be a presentation of all the documentation necessary that a company needs to obtain the trade and legal production, the legislation of the processes, norms, and annexes.

It is expected to produce a detailed technical report on the cultivation, processing, and quality control of sun hemp seeds for the climate of the region of Baixada Fluminense and elaborate a detailed technical report on the management adopted in the experimental seed field production. produce a step-by-step about the

legalization of a company to the production of seeds that present all the requirements of MAPA and create and legalize a company for the seed production and seed trade.
