SUMMARY:

Agriculture has a close relationship with environmental dynamics and is directly related to the quality and maintenance of the environment in which it is practiced. Organic agriculture, seeking the healthy maintenance of the environment and local sustainability, is an example of an integrative practice that reduces environmental impacts and promotes cleaner production, observing natural cycles and all its complexity. Family-peasant agriculture is an expression of the socioeconomic and cultural movement that represents agroecology and traditionally based agriculture. Organic farming has grown significantly around the world in recent years. Movement that demanded specific policies, regulations, norms and dynamics to strengthen agroecology and organic production. Whether in certification by audit (third party) or participatory guarantee system (PGS): OPAC and OCS, the COVID-19 pandemic that promoted social isolation and distance, implied the adaptation of the dynamics and procedures practiced. This new approach was necessary in order to meet the requirements of the current regulations, even in the midst of the tribulation caused by the pandemic. However, a new agenda of discussions about the applicability, inclusion, recognition and empowerment of the various actors in the universe of organic agriculture came to the fore. The use of technology tools, digital exclusion and inclusion, autonomy, and so many other challenges were launched at the epicenter of ensuring organic compliance, and in this study, we look at those with the greatest impact on Participatory Guarantee Systems - PGS. Thus, the objective of this project is to contribute to the development of agroecology and organic production in Brazil, with a focus on the state of São Paulo - SP, through active participation in the people responsible for organic agriculture, within the scope of legislation, regulations and mechanisms for assessing the organic nature of processes, products and services. Through participation and performance in the direction of the Participatory Guarantee System of the Natural Agriculture Association of Campinas and Region - ANC, OPAC accredited by MAPA, in the Organic Production Commission of the State of São Paulo (CPOrg-SP), in forums that address the thematic of organic agriculture and technical discussion groups on the subjects. It is intended to contribute to the adequacy and growth of organic production at another time; new directions, other paradigms. As expected results, we highlight the elaboration of technical material that helps in the application of a remote dynamic of organic conformity assessment, adaptations of the Internal Regulations and the ANC's PGS Operational Procedures Manual. And, also, participation in the collective discussion of the revision of IN 19/2009. Seeking to contribute so that the ANC's PGS needs to fulfill the requirements that the current global moment is going through, completing the interaction between all and all participants and members of the system.
