Agricultural financing programs diagnosis with agroforestry systems projects.
rural credit, sustainable production systems, organic agriculture.
The agroforestry systems (AFS) are a form of agricultural production in which the farmer can produce food in consortium with tree species, which brings several environmental, social and economic benefits. One of the difficulties of this system is the economic aspect, due to lack of resources to start the system and carry out maintenance over time, until revenues pay for production costs. One way of helping to make production viable is through agricultural financing, in which the resources obtained through the loan can contribute to a better structuring of the agroforestry farm. However, there are still some obstacles to obtaining agricultural financing for these producers. Some of these factors can be: the lack of information about the available programs that contemplate this type of production system; loan repayment guarantees; documentation of the land and the non-financial viability of the enterprise. The present work aims to carry out the diagnosis of agricultural financing programs for AFS through the collection of secondary data, to carry out a qualitative research of the existing AFS in Brazil, to detect the reality of the producers in this scenario, through the application of a questionnaire semi-structured online. With the information from the diagnosis of the financing programs for AFS and the results of the qualitative research, it is expected to identify the existing difficulties of AFS producers, discuss possible solutions for these obstacles and, through this, structure, and format a rural credit booklet focused on agroforestry systems.
