SUMMARY:

Article 1: The studies of Financial Education  in the school context is very coherent in the face of a consumerist and indebted society. The school can be a great ally for the citizen with its function of bringing knowledge and developing in students the power of criticality through classes aligned with their reality. By carrying out a systematic review on the CAPES platform, we sought to understand how the  Financial Education theme is being addressed in Professional Master's dissertations in Education and/or Teaching in Science and Mathematics programs. With the analysis carried out, it was possible to obtain information on significant numbers regarding regional aspects of the research, at which levels of education the dissertations had as a reference and some other data observed and recorded in this work. It was found that there is still a reduced amount of research carried out on the subject of Financial Education in the postgraduate programs mentioned above, reinforcing the relevance of developing works with the objective of disseminating Financial Education so that its concepts are within the reach of any student, being a great transformation tool, especially in socio-economic and decision-making contexts.

 

Article 2: This study aims to present a theoretical essay that integrates mathematics education, financial education and critical environmental education to weave in an interdisciplinary way strategies that allow students access to fundamental skills, with a view to a healthy relationship between consumption, dealing with finances, decision-making and socio-environmental and socioeconomic issues in today's society. From the studies presented, it was possible to evidence the relationship between environmental impacts, the lifestyle of the citizen-consumer and critical education can offer healthy options for the teaching and learning process to happen more effectively, enabling a better harmony between the individual and the environment, generating practical actions for the construction of a more balanced society.
