Covid 19 is a viral infection that has spread synchronously throughout various parts of the world and determined significant sociocultural and economic change that has also restructured the formal teaching and learning processes. The paralyzing of face-to-face school activities and the adoption of the remote work system were part of a set of social distancing measures aimed at containing the pandemic. In this scenario, we highlight the broad use of digital information and communication technologies (TDICs) via social networks, educational applications and digital platforms. In addition, health issues have become popular, in the face of denialist ideas and dissemination of fake news, determinants for decision-making and general awareness. The narrative of the pandemic came to occupy the center of attention and brought about new ways of teaching and learning about health in the digital environment. The intention of this research is to investigate how science and biology teachers of the state public network of the municipality of Barra Mansa are articulating their pedagogical teaching-learning practices to Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) with a focus on health education during the pandemic period. Thus, the present study adopts a qualitative methodological approach through exploratory research of documentary data (decrees, laws, ordinances, resolutions issued by the Secretaria de Estado da Educação - SEEDUC-RJ) and analysis of teachers' narratives. Based on the analysis of official documents and narrative interviews around the pedagogical praxis linked to health education in the face of the use of digital information and communication technologies TDICs, we found that the socioeconomic inequalities of the subjects represent conditions that were not foreseen, but that ended up compromising the effectiveness of non-face-to-face pedagogical activities mediated by digital technologies. In this sense, we identified that the difficulty of access to technology and the lack of technological fluency come as immediate challenges to be faced in a context of broad need and potential for the use of digital resources. We also noticed that, linked to a conceptual obstacle, the pedagogical intentionality prevails for SE actions in the school as merely individual and behaviorist.
