SUMMARY:

In this research, which has a multipaper format, the initial teacher training of mathematics graduates who act as content tutors with deaf mathematics graduates will be put into dialogue, with concepts and actions linked to the context of inclusion as research questions, in the search for answer to the question "what knowledge does acting as a pedagogical mediator with students with disabilities who study mathematics in higher education add to the constitution of their professional teaching identity?". Aimed specifically at higher education in a Mathematics Degree course, we will seek to identify elements that will remain with these future teachers who experience mediation actions in the constitution of their professional teaching identity. Therefore, the general objective of the research is to investigate what are the constituent elements of the professional teaching identity of future mathematics teachers that relate to their role as pedagogical mediators for students with disabilities in higher education. Two articles will be generated, the first of which aims to identify in the literature what results are aimed at inclusive education in higher education in the area of mathematics and qualify what mediation is, mainly in the sense of inclusion and special education - human mediation, specifically. In the second article, we hope to study the professional teaching identity specifically in the field of the teacher who teaches mathematics, its constitution, its genetics, investigate UFRRJ's strategies in the inclusion of students with disabilities and monitor and dialogue with mediators (content tutors) from the NAI, collaborating and/or raising their reports and reflections, relating them to the constitution of their Professional Teaching Identity. As an educational product, we hope to produce an e-book that contains elements inherent to mathematical performance in basic education with deaf students aimed at teachers who teach mathematics in basic education.
