EDUCATIONAL ENGINEERING: AN APPLICATION TO THE STUDY OF PHYSICAL CONCEPTS FOR STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS

Nowadays, much is being said about respecting differences. And this must be a subject that is predominant in the reflection of school environments, in order to contribute to the development of education and, consequently, of the citizen. Thus, this research presents, in the school context, an investigation about the application of didactic engineering to studies of physical concepts for visually deficiency student’s - students with low or no vision- through the use of appropriate experiments and didactic sequences as pedagogical resources that contribute to scientific thinking. Under the justification that the main functions of public schools are to serve the community, to promote public assistance and to educate citizens according to their experience, the reality of their social surroundings; and the low index of material available on the subject of this work, in relation to its breadth and importance. With the objective of generating a reflection and appreciation of the Physics Teaching in the parameter of the visually deficiency person; express key issues regarding the history of Special and Inclusive Education and Public Inclusion Policies; systematize proposals for workshops, physical instruments and classes on phenomena related to the discipline that harmonize, with accessibility and meaning. Reaffirming that the pedagogical resources are of fundamental importance for the education of people with visual needs, thus strengthening the process of school inclusion.
