RESUMO:

This research aims to develop, apply and analyze a didactic sequence on Polynomial Function and Function of the 1st Degree, using the social network Facebook and the GeoGebra smartphone application as pedagogical strategies for the interactive enrichment of the proposed activities. The subjects of the research were students of a 9th grade class of a Elementary School in a public school located in the neighborhood of Marechal Hermes, north zone of Rio de Janeiro. The analyzes of the productions carried out by the students, together with the transcripts of audios captured during classroom activities, the researcher's field diary, activity response sheets and interactions on the social network Facebook point out that the development of activities in groups as a proposal that can be beneficial for the students 'socio-cognitive development, as they give rise to conjectures and students' knowledge, enabling the appropriation of mathematical concepts during the learning process. Regarding the use of Facebook, we observed possibilities for its use, but it is essential to monitor the teacher in virtual spaces, arguing and interacting with students during the teaching process. As for GeoGebra for smartphones, in the scope of this research, it did not reach the expected objectives. In general, the proposed teaching experiment can be considered efficient for the expected objectives.
