Pedagogical Residence; Inclusive education; Mathematical Education; Autism.
This work reports an experience of students of the Pedagogical Residency Program in Mathematics at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, at the Seropédica pole, and of their tutor in a regular school of inclusive basic education. The activities were planned in weekly meetings and applied to all students enrolled in classes under the preceptor. In this work, the material prepared and applied to an X student, from the 8th year of schooling, with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) stands out. There is a brief theoretical foundation on inclusion and inclusive mathematical education and on teacher training. Afterwards, autism spectrum disorder was conceptualized and some relevant aspects in inclusive teacher education, responses to be observed in the day-to-day life of an autistic student and methodological strategies in harmony with this context. Finally, the work developed by this group of graduates and their tutor teacher was described, as well as the results observed during this short research interval.
