SUMMARY:
In this research we seek to continue a research initiated as a monograph in the undergraduate course that aimed to analyze the productions found on education of young people and deaf adults in Brazil produced between 2000 and 2020 and evaluate whether the results found in these productions are compatible with what deaf students and teachers experience in the classroom. Taking advantage of the results found at the time, this dissertation proposes, through an exploratory study, to elaborate a documentary on the subject, bringing excerpts of statements from teachers interviewed on this theme. The research is justified from the need to give visibility to JAS, besides being able to be used as a study for teachers trained or in training on THE and the teaching of mathematics for the deaf. We hope, after completion, to be able to contribute to the discussions in classes of undergraduate courses in mathematics focused on this important issue.
