SUMMARY:

The role of women in science is extremely important. However, it is little discussed historically, and this is due to the fact that to enter science, women face a constant struggle, imposed by society which puts them in the role of home caregivers, being constantly subjugated. The fight for equal rights is represented by feminism, which has evolved, to black feminism, since black women are even more oppressed by society. Despite the advances made by women, through their various fronts of struggle, this does not mean that they have achieved the same rights in different spaces. And the University is not left out of this context, especially with regard to the exact sciences, as we can see through the proportion between the number of male and female professors, as well as the scenario is also reflected in the student body. And if we glimpse the history of Science, it is almost marked in its hegemony by the figures of white men considered geniuses. Although women like Marie Curie, winner of 2 Nobel Prizes (one in Physics and one in Chemistry), are made invisible in the classrooms of High School (HS), even with the content of radioactivity being contemplated in the field of Modern Physics in the curriculum, either in the old model or in the proposal of the National Common Curriculum Base of the HS (BNCC, p. 540), already contemplated by the minimum curriculum of Physics of the state secretary of education of Rio de Janeiro (SEEDUC-RJ). And what to say when discussing special relativity, many accounts and almost nothing about its history and many men refuse to consider that Einstein's lifemate, Mileva Maric, may have contributed and relegated her to total obscurantism in the classroom. What to say about Lise Meitner? That she had her credits stolen by men in two works essential for understanding the composition of the atom such as the Auger Effect and Nuclear Fission. Even though it is recognized in the history of science books, it has not been properly repaired and it is also not included in the classes on nuclear fission. If we think about the beginning of the emergence of the scientific method in the 16th and 17th centuries, it can be seen that few female names appear as representatives of female scientists. And even though this situation is related to the historical-cultural context of the time, the issue is that it continues to happen today, women scientists continue to be made invisible every day inside the classrooms of disciplines related to the exact sciences, as if they did not have a protagonist role in the scientific development. And this leads to a cascade effect, where girls who do not have references cannot dream of reaching a certain professional position and this is what happens in the case of women scientists in the field of exact sciences, who are almost unrepresentative, especially in terms of the number of white male scientists of affluent social origin, who are the majority in these positions in universities. Aiming to change this reality and encourage more girls to enter Physics, this work seeks to 'make non unfeasible' female scientists in HS classrooms through an analysis of the contents of the minimum curriculum of SEEDUC-RJ and the BNCC, as well as a study related to the History of Physics with the objective of developing a board game that approached Modern Physics, especially in the area of Nuclear Physics.
